After receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner, she acquires a portion of Hulk's powers, but unlike her cousin, she retains her own control and intelligence. A lawyer by profession, she divides her life between courtrooms and crime-fighting in the guise of a heroine known to all as She-Hulk. She has been part of groups such as the Fantastic 4, Heroes for Hire, and the Defenders.
