A clone of Peter Parker who managed to survive during the 'Clone Saga,' he decides to forge a new identity under the name Ben Reilly and continues his crime-fighting efforts as the Scarlet Spider. Later on, he briefly replaced the original Peter Parker, who, in the meantime, wanted to take a break to start a family with Mary Jane.
