A mutant with the ability to absorb powers, memories, and life force from anyone she touches. This power comes at the cost of rendering the person she absorbs from temporarily incapacitated or harmed. Rogue is a conflicted and complex character who grapples with the weight of her powers, finding herself unable to have human contact, and seeks redemption for her past actions. As the adopted daughter of Mystique, she initially debuts as a villain before later joining the X-Men, becoming one of its most prominent members over time.
